You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.
This weekend we're going down to see the air & water show. We've been hearing the jets fly in since yesterday morning. There will also be more cooking! I've got a 1/2 assembled curried quorn salad in the fridge & we're going out in a few minutes to get cream for creme brulee and potatoes for ensalada rusa. This is shaping up to be the best vacation ever.

I am home working...well, I'm trying to work. This document is PAINFUL plus it's gorgeous outside. So, I'm going to leave in a bit and go hang out at the pool. But that means I'll have a ton to do tomorrow.
My fun thing for today was learning that I'm going to have to get a new furnace before the winter! Home ownership is sometimes not the best thing ever. and I have to figure out do I convert to gas now? Or what? Of course the salesguy from my oil company says that's a bad idea but what else would he say?
I knew it was bound to happen eventually. The furnace I have is ancient. Probably as old or older than me. And it's been really inefficient. feh
