Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

Is Em the composer of Spider Pig?

No, that would be Homer. Or rather Homer would be the lyricist.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

As in the Illiad?

Such range, you know? Really remarkable.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Aimee & Jilli, have you seen this version of "Popular" from Wicked by the Avenue Q puppets?

You like that, Suzi?

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Oh, hec, Jilli's gonna flip for that. I don't think she'll see it for a while as I think she's just headed into a meeting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got a gmail address of firstname.lastname@gmail.com (I have to admit I just went to see if firstname.lastname (literally, not my name) was available) just because I don't want to be professionally traced back to any of my domains. And I would never ever have a cuddler type email. With webmail services I use my first name and middle name, or my capoeira name, or one standard no relation to me email addy when I want to be all stealthy.

Mostly lurking...

Cashmere, I sure hope this afternoon is going quieter!

After making it almost the whole trip to Kansas without visiting the three fabulous craft stores downtown, I gave in today (after cleaning my SIL's whole house for her). I needed to get away from the cats for a bit, and it's too hot to wander much outside. So, to the craft stores I went. I quit after two. Didn't need to spend any more money at the third!
