Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, hec, Jilli's gonna flip for that. I don't think she'll see it for a while as I think she's just headed into a meeting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got a gmail address of firstname.lastname@gmail.com (I have to admit I just went to see if firstname.lastname (literally, not my name) was available) just because I don't want to be professionally traced back to any of my domains. And I would never ever have a cuddler type email. With webmail services I use my first name and middle name, or my capoeira name, or one standard no relation to me email addy when I want to be all stealthy.

Mostly lurking...

Cashmere, I sure hope this afternoon is going quieter!

After making it almost the whole trip to Kansas without visiting the three fabulous craft stores downtown, I gave in today (after cleaning my SIL's whole house for her). I needed to get away from the cats for a bit, and it's too hot to wander much outside. So, to the craft stores I went. I quit after two. Didn't need to spend any more money at the third!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I seem to be hosting a Baby Food Dream Dinners kind of thing at a friend's house in a couple of weeks.

CRAXY.

ALSO!

Hec, I am trying out a new stylist on Monday night. She is still technically learning, but she was messing about with one of her mannequin heads the other night and came up with a cut for me. I'm so excited! And, I just have to tip her! She can't charge me!

Aimee & Jilli, have you seen this version of "Popular" from Wicked by the Avenue Q puppets?

Eeeeee! Oh, that was great!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oops. I've been using jzmayhem for my resume -- so far nobody's screamed about it, and at this point I'm signed up with so many damn recruiters that it'd just make things worse to go changing it.

And, in fact, jzmayhem is telling me I have an interview next week! An actual interview for an actual position, not another recruiter interview but the real thing itself (well, it is for another recruiter, but this recruiter actually needs an assistant (fortunately, it appears that I interview well with recruiters)). And the recruiter I met with this morning is all enthusiastic and wants to line up two more actual real interviews for me ASAP.

Please, please, please let something good happen.
