[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

SO not caught up. Also, full of gronk.

Hec, I'm so sorry about Karen. Vibing hard for her.

YAY for -t's houseage! That's awesome news.

I know there was more -- like DebetEsse's birthday! Happy birthday! -- but catching up is going to take a while. Lots of ~ma and brackets and gropeage all around.

Laura, I need to email you. I also need to email Deena. And thus ends my to-do list for this morning.

Our wings are not tired.

Best possibleoutcome ~ma for Karen and loved ones.

Yay for hazzing of the house!

Hi Amy! Also full of gronk here. And no voice. Drove to Syracuse yesterday and picked up DH. Yay! Have had sinus throat issues and now voice gone. Boo!

I should get out of bed and have breakfast.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Am working from home today. I have a sick CJ. Which made me realize that the boy hasn't had a cold in yonks.

I'm getting the pig!

Poor CJ. I'm working from home today, too. Unfortunately due to a sick me rather than a sick cute kidlet.

I'm enjoying the part where I'm still in my pajamas, but not really liking the part where I actually have to work.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The Laugh-Out-Loud Cats are brilliant.

I went to trapeze school yesterday! Incredibly fun. The lesson got rained out halfway through, but I still got to swing twice.

The commute there, though, is not fun. There's one train in the morning that goes directly from DC to Camden Yards, which is the closest station to the trapeze school. If we miss that train, though (which we did -- my fault, I overslept), it's MARC to BWI Rail Station, shuttle bus from BWI Rail Station to BWI Airport, and then light rail from BWI to Camden Yards. I counted, and we were on ten different vehicles yesterday. (Two metro trains, one MARC train, one bus, and one light rail in each direction.)

Rather sore today. And the bottom of my ribcage hurts from the safety harness belt. But still, way fun.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Feel better CJ.

I have a decision to make. I also have a bag to make, and that is what the decision is about. My lovely shiny blue back pack that I bought to use on my pretty purple bicycle is getting worn out. Now that I no longer use the bike for transportation, I don't need a back pack, per se. I do, however, need a bag that will carry my big folder that has all my time sheets and expense forms for all the locations I work at, as well as a pair of shoes, at least one bottle of water, a book or three, and the other assorted items one usually carries in a purse. So, do I make a messenger-style bag out of three very fetching tapestry style placemats, or do I make a large draw-string style satchel out of some blue and gold floral apholstery material?

Nicole - I'm working from home too and my VPN keeps dying. No fun. But I'm in PJ's and Cars is on the tv.

WindSparrow - I'd go with a messenger style bag. Just cause.

Trapeze school sounds so much fun.
