Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Congrats -t!

meara, isn't that just so depressing (thing I posted in Press)? Good Lord, stay outta my bedroom, asshole strangers!
I've had my flowery shoes for about a year and I wear them all the time. I love them so much and will be sad when they finally wear out. They are already starting to look a bit wilted (hehe).
I've been seeing is short and (maybe?) balding. Maybe he's involved in one of the other new restaurants opening down here.
Sounds like Dan or Dave who are involved with the Market project. though Ben may be short to others... remember, my perspective is rather skewed.
calm ~ma to Robin!
Ben's at the Waterfront or Miss Irene's after 2pm usually. And he always cooks brunch at the Waterfront on Sundays. But that's not a good time to chat him up. I'd stop in to the Waterfront if you have a minute (or want old-bay fries, or some good veggie wrap) and ask if he's around.
DON'T for the love of god let him pour you an espresso vodka. my DH is still recovering...
I HOPE you have a full-face helmet?
Dude, that's the first thing I bought. I've already fucked up my face once, I sure as hell don't want to do it again.
I despise sake, but I make a kick-ass espresso martini.
OK, strange question for the group. I'm on Amazon buying supplies for the musical, and they say "based on your purchases, we recommend the Sassafras Pizza Peel". Which took me aback, because I learned Sassafras as another word for the female genitalia (as in "kiss my sassafras"). Little did I know it was a tree. The guys in the office are mocking me now, and I just want to know if anyone else has heard this usage of the word?
(btw, I have NO clue what I have purchased from Amazon that makes them think i would want/need it, especially from my work computer, when of late I've been pricing Tagaderm and Transpore tape and stuff)
juliana, we'd love to see you too (though sadly, S's health issues prevent any kind of glorious bar hopping, which is the best way to spend time with you for sure), and in fact, we'd love to see any and all Bayistas, but again, our time is limited and mostly for family.
Sake varies a lot. I like some of it, but it all gives me a headache.
What's an expresso vodka?
I hate performance reviews with a passion, but I'm sure yours will be glowing, Robin.
Also, JZ, homey bowls of pasta and kids sounds perfect.
glorious bar hopping, which is the best way to spend time with you for sure)
Hey! I can be amusing in a non-bar setting!
If JZ & Hec don't mind sharing space, I can certainly vroom on down there.
Ben's at the Waterfront or Miss Irene's after 2pm usually.
I should stop in for a drink after work sometime! And, possibly some of their awesome (is it?) Eastern Shore(?) mac&cheese? With the stewed tomatoes. SO good.
I love good sake. Served cold, the way good sake should be served.
