juliana, we'd love to see you too (though sadly, S's health issues prevent any kind of glorious bar hopping, which is the best way to spend time with you for sure), and in fact, we'd love to see any and all Bayistas, but again, our time is limited and mostly for family.
'Not Fade Away'
Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sake varies a lot. I like some of it, but it all gives me a headache.
What's an expresso vodka?
I hate performance reviews with a passion, but I'm sure yours will be glowing, Robin.
Also, JZ, homey bowls of pasta and kids sounds perfect.
glorious bar hopping, which is the best way to spend time with you for sure)
Hey! I can be amusing in a non-bar setting!
If JZ & Hec don't mind sharing space, I can certainly vroom on down there.
Ben's at the Waterfront or Miss Irene's after 2pm usually.
I should stop in for a drink after work sometime! And, possibly some of their awesome (is it?) Eastern Shore(?) mac&cheese? With the stewed tomatoes. SO good.
I love good sake. Served cold, the way good sake should be served.
I just got back from 6 hours at the DMV, with no success in my initial quest.
They should make special anti-depressent rescue inhalers for trips to the DMV.
Now to mail shoes to people.
Which took me aback, because I learned Sassafras as another word for the female genitalia (as in "kiss my sassafras"). Little did I know it was a tree.
Well, damn. I am having the exact opposite reaction.
In Benicia or another local town?
In Suisun City (or, as I apparently have to make out my water bill payment checks, the City of Suisun City. It's on the seal and everything). It's far enough out to be conveniently close to outlets, definitely a serious schlep. But affordable, so yay! And with a marina, so if anyone is traveling by yacht, very convenient.
Hooray armor and bad-assedness! Pictures!
Review~ma, Robin. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, but I know that's not always helpful to hear.
Sake night at the Dragon's Den has scarred me. Buy one get one free sounds like a good idea, but when it applies to bottles of sake it's extremely dangerous.
Now to mail shoes to people.
That reminds me that I got the shoes that Bobbi sent and, lo, they are awesome. I need to take pictures of my feet in them after I get a pedi this weekend.
And see if I have any good shoes I can pass along to anybody!
omnis, I have never heard of that description before.
Yesterday I thought I was coming down with a cold so I emergen-c and airborned up. Today I feel better, although I should probably airborne again. Yesterday I made a hot bourbon toddy with water, blue agave syrup, vitamin c crystals, and a splash of bourbon.
