I promise, you'll love it! Especially if I make sure you drink enough sake and Asahi beer.
'The Girl in Question'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

ha - yes, I should check the papers. are they actually going to open? I suggested their t-shirts should have Opening In: and then all the months - then they could just line-through each month as it passed. That was when I was helping paint the place.
He's a nice guy. tall, v. short hair? the red-head is John. Tomorrow if you see Ben, say hi and introduce yourself. He's still bummed we didn't get buffy movies going before I split town. You could take up the flag...
eta- Lisah - tell Ben 'hi' for me too pls!
Sean, YAY! We're available and just loafing about most evenings; I can't guarantee we can scrape together the cash for going out, but if you and S are good with giant bowls of pasta we could do that. There'd be slounging and baby-hugging and probably cool videos and stuff.
Tuesday nights it's just us and Matilda, Wed & Thurs add Emmett to the mix.
Ping me at my profile addy if you like.
In short, YAY!
Also, congrats -t on house-having! In Benicia or another local town? That whole area is kind of a trek from San Francisco, but oh there are such gorgeous old houses all over.

hmm.. the guy I've been seeing is short and (maybe?) balding. Maybe he's involved in one of the other new restaurants opening down here.
The Miss Irene's news in the paper this morning was that it's to open sometime "in the fall."
It seems like that's always the way with restaurants.
Armor is a good thing, Juliana! I HOPE you have a full-face helmet?
I have my yearly review in less than an hour and am all twitchy. I keep thinking I should be cooler about it, but I never am. Like all Buffistas, I tend to discount the positive and dwell on the negative and so no matter what review I get, it makes for a cranky-ass day. I know the worry is unhealthy, but I still haven't figured out how to stop it.
Especially if I make sure you drink enough sake and Asahi beer.
I've tasted something that I thought was sake at a karaoke bar once. It tasted like someone boiled a months worth of the local sport team's stinky socks and then poured the water into a cup and handed it to me as a fucked up practical joke. Nasty.
Yay for safe and (always) bad-ass Juliana! I think we'll be needing pictures asap.
Congrats -t!

meara, isn't that just so depressing (thing I posted in Press)? Good Lord, stay outta my bedroom, asshole strangers!
I've had my flowery shoes for about a year and I wear them all the time. I love them so much and will be sad when they finally wear out. They are already starting to look a bit wilted (hehe).

Sounds like Dan or Dave who are involved with the Market project. though Ben may be short to others... remember, my perspective is rather skewed.
calm ~ma to Robin!
Ben's at the Waterfront or Miss Irene's after 2pm usually. And he always cooks brunch at the Waterfront on Sundays. But that's not a good time to chat him up. I'd stop in to the Waterfront if you have a minute (or want old-bay fries, or some good veggie wrap) and ask if he's around.
DON'T for the love of god let him pour you an espresso vodka. my DH is still recovering...
I HOPE you have a full-face helmet?
Dude, that's the first thing I bought. I've already fucked up my face once, I sure as hell don't want to do it again.
I despise sake, but I make a kick-ass espresso martini.
