Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Me too. I have all the songs memorized. I've seen tons of youtube clips...but I want to see it LIVE!!!

You should come down here just to see it at the Pantages.

I have no ulterior motive for suggesting that. Just thought you might like to take a trip and see a show at the same time. You seemed like you might like that sort of thing....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I saw Emmett pitch and hit and adjust his cup.

There's much touching of the cup. It's sort of like rubbing Buddha's belly.

We won 22-0. I kept tweaking our team's parents (who are Berkeley in all but area code): "Well, another crushing victory for the upper middle class blonde white kids over the scrappy, underprivileged multiethnic kids." And they'd wince with liberal guilt.

It was fun!

We saw Glavine's win on ESPN. I don't know why they're blathering about him being the last 300 winner. They said that shit when Seaver and Carlton hit 300. Sports dude, have you not noticed the multiple pitchers who are now pitching in their forties which was not so common before?

It'll happen again.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Tom Glavine just won his 300th game!

Yay! He's such a class act.

OMG would I love to and I could see you, and S, and Kristin, and Drew, and anyone else who would be willing to spend 5 minutes with me. But I'm broker than a broke thing that is broke. With a kid entering her senior year. Kill me now.

Shouldn't we wait until she graduates?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Shouldn't we wait until she graduates?

You can send her to college with the insurance money.

Thanks. Ok, medicate me. Heavily.

Or kidnap me. To LA. Yeah, that could work.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I once again overbooked my weekend and am only now getting any me time. Not that my weekend wasn't fun, but I totally need another day to just veg.

I made pasta, breakfast casserole and strawberry cake (as I was tasting it I actually thought, "Whoa, this would be waaaaay to sweet for ita).

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

d, I'm sorry your dad is hurting so badly. Hope the travel-planning goes well, so your visit will be a good one.
