Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Poll results came through, o_a.

Okay, SF-istas. As a preview for Tep and meara being in town next weekend, *I* will be in town next week.

S and I will be driving up early Tuesday, and will be staying through some time Friday (it's unclear when). Unfortunately I have to work that weekend, and it looks *highly* unlikely I'll be able to find someone to cover me for saturday or sunday, so I will most likely not be able to stay long enough to actually spend time with Tep or meara (though I'm still trying to find a replacement for those days).

Our schedule is a little loosey goosey right now. Primarily, we'll be in San Jose to spend time with Mom, sis, other sis, BiL, nephew and new neice (as well as dad and step-mom), so most of our time will be doing that, but we'd love to try and see some peeps while we're there.

Most especially, I'd like to see Hec, JZ, and new Matilda, if that can at all be arranged. I know a lot depends on scheduling from both sides, but I just wanted to give some heads-up.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Everybody comes to town while I am elsewhere! Unfair!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Connie, I'm sorry to hear that.

Hec, much good wishes for your friend.

Today is made of fail. Fail, fail, fail. I am attempting to work from home today, because Tzepesh needed an emergency trip to the vet. Whitefonted for ooky: blood all over his butt. But other than that, there's nothing wrong. Tzepesh is his usual chatty, affectionate, playful self. But that's not a symptom to ignore, so off to the vet he goes.

To top it off, I can't log on to my work laptop so I can connect to the corpnet. Apparently it's been long enough since I logged on to it that I don't remember the password, and the only way to fix it is to take it to the office, connect to the corpnet there, and then have a technician come help me. I am NOT a happy cupcake of a goth today.

I'm getting the pig!

Congrats on the house having, -t!

The painted bricks are so very cool looking, vw. And Tep makes Waterbury, VT sound like a very yummy place to visit.

Happy birthday, Debet!

I'm sorry about the exhaustingly rough night, connie. I hope you and your dh are able to relax extra hard tonight.

Universe! Bring our happy cupcake of a goth back. Right Now. Stupid password issues Be Gone! And a bucket of It's Nothing ~ma for Tzepesh.

I still need to actually try sushi. Will have to work on that.

Herding cats for fun

Happy house hazzing, -t! Hooray for housing!

Am now formulating Evil Plan to take Nicole to a sushi boat bar. This was how I ended the Sushi Virginity of some dubious diners: I'd say, look, you don't even have to pick it up if you think it doesn't look good! Now, my friends hate me for having started them on an expensive food habit. I recommend the Barbecue Eel and, of course, the California Roll. Mmm crab and avocado with sesame seeds.

Punishingly Intricate

Sox, is your friend the owner of the Waterfront? Am I remembering that correctly?

I'm getting the pig!

Katie! ::hugs and smooches Katie for DAYS:: I would gladly follow you to a sushi boat bar.

I'm such a baby when it comes to new foods. I was nervous as hell the first time I went to a vietnamese restaurant (maybe 7 years ago) but I'm so glad I did because vietnamese eggrolls are nothing short of heavenly. I also have a favorite vietnamese entree dish but I couldn't possibly tell you what it's called other than #12 on the menu at Kim Ba's.

I was nervous about dim sum, too, but now I have it at least once every couple of months, so I have high hopes of liking sushi.

Not sure if this is a migraine side effect or not but I keep getting sharp stabbing pains toward the back of my head. They are verging on scream-out-loud worthy, rather than just painful and annoying.
