Food porn. Guh!!!

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Steph, my stomach is so jealous! That sounds like an awesome meal.
Reminds me of my favorite meal ever - we went to The Stephanie Inn in Canon Beach, OR for our honeymoon. Every dinner there was over $100, but it was al the most amazing food I've ever had. I was so tired from the wedding that I was almost falling asleep at the table, but I refused to leave until we'd had out *entire* meal because it was so good.
Steph's a big meanie!
Yum! Can your brother come over and cook me lunch, Tep?
It's posts like that that make me realize, I've eaten exactly nothing that good.
I've eaten some really good foods here and there, but no fantasmical, orgamiscal meal. I'm not the most adventuresome of eaters, but ever since my trip to SF last fall, I make it a point to try new things when I go somewhere (thanks to juliana and the olive and cheese plate thingy, I now eat olives! And not just the black ones in the can! REAL olives! Even kalamatas!)
But I've never eaten a meal that was so good anyone cried.
I should mention that my brother is equally enthusiastic about the virtues of Spam and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Fortunately that's not what he made last night.
But I've never eaten a meal that was so good anyone cried.
None of us cried, but we were all stunned into speechlessness upon our first bite of each course. I mean, we knew he was good, but -- ffffuck. Spectacular.
here's wishing stage one, no-chemo-required cancer to her.
This. Hec, I'm sorry. Much ~ma for everyone.
Mr. Daisy is indeed FTW.
The problem with tequila, for me, is that my id gets jacked up to 11 on it. No one needs that much juliana in their lives. Not even me.
Yay -t!!
Happy birthday, Debet!!!
Went to dinner at Sushi Groove with Martin last night, and I think we managed to eat our weight in sushi. So nummy. So tasty. So awesome. He was super-attentive and funny, and listened to me babble on about cyberpunk vs. steampunk and the aesthetics of both. Then, at the bars we stopped in on our way home, he got reminded that his friends like me as much as he does. It was a Good Night.
I also observed that while Russian Hill has awesome stores and restaurants, it's basically Marina East.
And then I'll be in town Saturday afternoon (the 25th) through Sunday evening, with The Boy in tow.
Whoo!!!
Cute shoes, GC!
renews plans to go to Waterbury soon
Hey! When is he going to be back in VT? I can't go if he's not there!
Wow, Steph, that sounds *delicious*!! I want!!!
Note to Lady Setting Up Interview With Me: If you are sending me a fedex of important documents...like the interview schedule...it'd be nice if you MENTIONED that, so that I could arrange to be home for the fedex guy. Instead, I had no idea, nearly missed him, and will not be around to go get it at the FedEx facility. Gah.
