Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sox! I have a welcome-to-Philadelpia present for you if you're comfortable sending me your address (and don't mind being ax-murdered).

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Um, I don't really need super hero boots, do I?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I don't really need super hero boots, do I?

Yes. Yes you do. But those particular super hero boots look like they will turn out to be very poorly constructed. Does Madden make super hero boots?

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Sox, sorry you're having a hard time adjusting. The tag stuff I do when I buy a new (to me) car so it hasn't been challenging. Actually, most of the administrative stuff hasn't been too bad or else selective amnesia is working well. I do have to get my car inspected this month though, and I do really hate all things related to automotive maintenance.

I will be in Maryland this weekend for my friend's second triathlon, but if you need moral support of the unrelated company I could help you unpack the following weekend.

Librarian Warlord

You definitely need superhero boots. And then we'll need pictures.

brenda, you're not in Philadelphia! You really are planning on ax murdering her!

Also, Sox, I don't seem to have your new telephone #, although I do have the address, so no complainin' if I just show up without warning someday and steal books off your shelves.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Okay, hivemind, what do we know about cymbalta?

Our wings are not tired

Grrrrr. I'm done with what I need to do here and now I'm just waiting to show the right person how it works.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Okay, hivemind, what do we know about cymbalta?

I couldn't sleep at all when I was taking it, but I think there are other buffistas who have had better experience with it.

TCG has been home from his meeting (where they fed him dinner) for 5 minutes. In that time he ate the food I was going to eat for dinner as well as a good portion of the food I was going to serve tomorrow night for dinner.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Jeez-o-pete. I catch up (after a lot of skipimmining) and the last bunch of posts are all about cool shoes. Man, I love the Doc Martens and the Steve Maddens.

sj, I'm sorry about your dinner. I hope you kicked him in the shins.

I wanted to say thank you to all of you for the good birthday wishes. You are all some of the best people I have ever had the fortune to meet (or mostly meet, or internet meet, or whatever). I've been working a lot, so I wasn't able to read them all on the day, but things have been frustrating and it was so nice to dip in and read a bit before going back to work. You've made my birthday celebration extra special.

I think this is one of the best birthdays I've ever had, topped off with dinner in a good Italian restaurant with everyone, including Nick and one of his best friends from high school. The day after we went to a family-owned circus at the Ren Faire that was just lovely and the kids had a marvelous time. I'm going to post pictures pretty soon.
