Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Askye, sorry about your foiled plans. Hope you do get to leave early.

IOcatN - Sammie's latest test showed a good specific gravity, so Yay! Yay! Yay! The previous numbers are most likely off due to what she had recently ingested before the tests. Yay! She's clear. Thank you all for that Powerful ~ma!

Did I mention: Yay!

Right now the dealer where I purhased the truck is scoring points. The truck was sold as-is and when I got home the odometer display went out. I brought it in today and they are fixing for no charge. On top of that while I was here for that the finance manager called me into her office because she found me a loan with a lower interest rate and over 36 months instead of 24 so it is a big drop in payments. I still plan to pay off the loan in 12 months but the lower required payment is always a good thing.

And I went back and found ot that yes, yes you did buy a new truck.

I bought a work truck. It is a 99 GMC Sierra extended cab. Got a great deal too, $8500.

Do you still have the Escape?

Oh yeah. This truck is strictly for hauling some of the rental gear that I have that is too big for the Escape. I was just ending up renting trucks too often.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Oh Drew, that rocks. I'm really glad to hear that they're doing the right thing. Was that the only thing wrong, or was there something else, too? I'm also very happy about the finance manager taking care of the loan for you. Yay!!

Aims, yes, for work. He rents a truck a fair amount when doing installations, and Halloween at Universal this year was going to cost several thousand in rental fees. We decided that that several thousand was better spent as a downpayment on a cheap, used pickup truck. You missed our naming discussion last night. 'Twas amusing.

ETA: Oops, xposty.

The fuel guage was the other item and it worked when I started the truck this morning. Go figure. A flakey fuel guage I can live with. No odometer I cannot.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Hopefully, this means a nice tax write off for the business, too, ND, yeah?
