I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

YAY VORTEX HOUSE!!! WOOT! 'Bout time, doll. I was getting worried.

I want Tim Gunn to come to my house and go through my closet with me. I trust him, and he'd let me keep my style while pointing me to clothes that flatter.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

YAY VORTEX! Big, big, big congrats!

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Stacy and Clinton aren't as rigid on black as the BBC WNTW, but they have a list of 5 favorite color combos for work, only one of which has black in it. I don't remember them all but I know "brown and pink" is one as well as "navy and lavender".

As a "Summer" (or "mid-tones" in WNTW-speak), my neutrals are winter white, rose beige to rose-brown (including cocoa), blue-grey, and greyed navy. "Winters" (or "cool and bright") have black, navy, and greys. "Falls" (or "warm tones") have all the browns, warm beiges, and khaki.

ETA: Congrats Vortex!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congrats, Vortex! Finally!!!

Tim Gunn seemed nicely sensible. And he has a visceral dislike of leggings. We could work together.

Does anyone here take shoes with them on shopping trips? I mean, for clothes that are less than a couple hundred bucks? I can't imagine caring that much and would probably prefer coming back into the store to return stuff.

Today I wore a pendant that cost over $100 (eta: gift from Ma). This is how I know I'll never be a grownup the way my mother is a grownup. Silver. Semi-precious stone. It's lovely. I really like it. I just don't drop money like that on jewelry. Unless it had an on switch and came from the Apple store, perhaps.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

ita, is there anyway to get some of this prearranged? I am assuming that the point of the notes was this , but they aren't working. though maybe it is the problem with most hospitls. Too big, so you never know who you are going to see

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay, Vortex!

Boo, ita.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay, Vortex!

ita, this is getting enfuriating. beth has a point, what's the use of the headache Dr giving you a standard Rx if the ER Dr is going to nix it every time? Is there any way to deal with the pain without going through the ER? Can you headache Dr get you admitted to some place where he/she can supervise your treatment?

Congrats Vortex.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

One of the last times we were here, they carefully went over the notes my specialist was recommending. And drugged me accordingly. The guy after that was the prick, and this guy doesn't want to (or care to) go back and check my notes for how I'm normally treated. He won't call the specialist, since my specialist works out of different hospitals.

But honestly? 1mg? That doesn't even take away the sensation left by me dosing myself with the subq triptan.

The hospital with which he is closely affiliated is the one I waited 4 hours and then ended up going somewhere else.

But Polgara has rescued me.

I wear black most of the time. When I don't, people at work tend to say things like, "You're not wearing black!" Even when I didn't wear black all the time, they did this. So I wear black partly because it makes for fewer idiotic conversations. And also because I'm lazy and don't understand colors and what looks good and what doesn't anyway, so. Daniel keeps yelling at me about this.

Oo. I love house pics. And shiny appliances! Congratulations, Vortex!

Poor ita. Hooray for being rescued, but boo for needing rescue from the people who are supposed to help. God.
