I wear black most of the time. When I don't, people at work tend to say things like, "You're not wearing black!" Even when I didn't wear black all the time, they did this. So I wear black partly because it makes for fewer idiotic conversations. And also because I'm lazy and don't understand colors and what looks good and what doesn't anyway, so. Daniel keeps yelling at me about this.

Oo. I love house pics. And shiny appliances! Congratulations, Vortex!

Poor ita. Hooray for being rescued, but boo for needing rescue from the people who are supposed to help. God.

Oh jesus, ita. I'd love to thump these assholes. I'm so sorry.

Vortex, it's lovely! I love the color of those floors.

A mosquito got me at the base of my neck, just starting at my back. Hurt so bad, I thought I'd been stung by a bee and wondering if I'm allergic to them (never been stung.) I know that area is sensitive, but good lord. I did the crazy dance on my balcony, whapping the spot with my book.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha. A mosquito got me on where my Adam's apple would be if I were an Adam. It is driving me, err, bugfuck. Because I itch! But if I scratch it, I tickle! But if I don't scratch it, I itch!

Heavens, ita. Hope you're getting stashed away at a better ER. Yay for Polgara. (Yay for you accepting a lift from Polgara.)

Dude, if I can't wear black with everything, I am so screwed. Can I not wear khaki with stuff, too? Work with me, here, people!

Watching my Tivo'd Tim Gunn last night, I wondered if he would still hate on my clothes even if I *owned* my sleek grey cargo pants and band T-shirts. Heh. But yeah, okay, I'd let Tim Gunn go through my closet. But not my underwear drawer. The horror!

I don't bring shoes to try on clothes, but then I'm not usually shopping for all ten pivotal items in my closet. I do try to wear the right pair of shoes to try on whatever it is I'm shopping for.

You know what has, oddly enough, worked to kill an itch dead? Off skintastic bug repellent. I have no idea why it works in that capacity.

Added bonus (besides the repellent effect) is you'll get people commenting favorably on your perfume. Even if you use the unscented kind. Weird stuff.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Um, maybe you get compliments on your bug-spray perfume....

Liese, are you still around? Amyth and I need your email address. Is your profile one still okay?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

WOO HOO VORTEX!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Whoops, yup, meant to ping you over on lj (go me!), but yeah, profile addy is fine.

I swear, Jesse, it's true. From multiple different people on different occasions. I think it just smells like...bug spray. Not terribly unpleasant, but sort of antiseptic.

Mr Kitty just startled the shit out of me. Out of the blue he let out a fighting caterwaul, followed by a couple of murmurs. He was asleep (not anymore cause I had to wake him up to make sure he hadn't gone and died or something.) He's always slept hard and dreamed, but this was a first.
