Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

ita, one of my neighbors said you out-alpha maled everyone at the party, that sitting still, you're like a superhero waiting for the bat phone to ring.

So I told him about the time you swooped in and saved a little boy from being run over by a truck at Urth Cafe.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I actually think muttering under one's breath is pretty common in NYC, even among the non-crazy. Or less-crazy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You have those in NYC?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

fire up the US Open on my TiVo.

Woot! Good stuff. I'm still on the first match, but it made me take a break to Skype home and talk a little women's tennis with the mater. Sports...still bringing families together.

I wonder how Brent would take that...actually, I'm not sure how I take the idea of out-alpha maling him. But in the meanwhile? I'm going to take that compliment gratefully.

Dude...I'd forgotten about that. So very surreal.

It may just bolster the argument that alla y'all are crazy.

I'm only in the first set of the Djokovic v. Ferrer match and I'm already flailing! Holy shit, can Ferrer hustle.

Er. Is saying who's playing a spoiler?

Second set, you mean? I'm on it now!

I'm in the second set myself. Very nervewracking. But I think that matches played not today aren't spoilers, and that's all that the lineup for today is.

I am pissed about the Williams sisters, or at least about what I realised re: them. They pretty much play crap when they lose. Take Roddick--that match against Federer? LOVELY. He can play well and lose. Venus? Serena? They show up with crap and then they lose. I don't like watching that kind of tennis. Might as well just read the score.

This year I'm so all about the men at the Open. Normally it's the other way round, but apart from the Serbs, I found most of the women disappointing.
