Art Crawl!!!

Amusing preview of Private Practice. I haven't really been watching the previews and despite the Risky Business aspects -- I really enjoyed this. Also, Taye Diggs not looking frumpy. Thank goodness. Perhaps it's NOT the Apocalypse.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

As opposed to being a *physical* barrier?

Sort of like being a 'don't walk on the grass' sign with a higher barrier to step over. :-)

She's gorgeous, Suela.

Got up late and still haven't eaten. Must go find food. Good days, all.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

'Blondi' was the name of Hitler's German Shepherd, so 'Blondie' as a name of a German Shepherd seems slightly disturbing.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

nice puppy Suela ( all dogs are puppies, all cats are kitties)

I will get a better lock at some point, but since my door has a nice glass window - it would be pretty easy to break it and reach in and turn the lock. I think the irregular hours that a number of us work is the biggest safety feature of our neighborhood

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Congrats on the lovely dog, 'Suela!

Well, I was mostly succesfull in my clothing quest. Found a lovely purple suit at Macy's. Granted it was the only suit in the section that worked for me, but it fit and looks good.(yay for vanity sizing, which is the only way something that size would fit me and even have a little room at the waist.)

Jeans were a bit more problematic. The Gap apparently hasn't heard that "high-waist" pants are back, as all their styles were mid or low-rise. Low-rise doesn't work for everyone. Ended up with two pairs of Levis. Ok, it was two copies of the same jeans, but it was the only style that worked reasonably well for me.

Oh Suela, you know what a sucker I am for Shepherds. She's just beautiful! I love Magda for a name, too.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Beautiful dog!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ah joy, my crazy downstairs neighbor muttered "jackass" far too loudly under his breath after I greeted him in passing. Or maybe he was addressing the door lock that he seems to be obsessively opening and closing. Yet again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I sometimes mutter "jackass" or other insulting cursewords under my breath, and only rarely am I referring to another person. Especially another person nearby.
