Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Aw, it's the citrus version of the cilantro discussion. I wonder how many people feel the same way about both. If I weren't lazy, I'd make a chart. I mean, I'm obsessive enough to want to know, just not energetic enough.

Simpsons was fun! I don't watch the show very often anymore, but I do love me some Homer & Co.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm obsessive enough to want to know, just not energetic enough.

Bwah! This covers a multitude of topics for me.

Our wings are not tired

I really want to see the Simpsons movie. Maybe this week while I am trapped in Orlando.

Our wings are not tired.

The boys declared the Simpsons movie brilliant. I have been listening to songs and lines all week. I didn't have time to see it myself yet.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I didn't know there was any other way to eat grapefruits.

Give them to the Ting maker? Works wonders for me.

I have gotten the reputation of fruit-plate hoarder at work, since it's what I go for when they provide a spread. There was a congratulatory thingummy this Friday with great buzzy pineapple--anyone else get high off that stuff? I can also get myself going with just the right kind of sour applesauce, but that's much more hit and miss.

My apartment is too hot.

Occurs to me now that my oven is one. Hmm.

I just started watching Kill Point on F/X. I'm tempted to google it to read about the meta--how they intend to execute what seems to be a short-term premise in series form. Or maybe I read wrong, and it's not a series.

But I'm trying to watch TV like a regular person and just watch the damned thing.

Being normal is hard.

Apparently Damages has an explicitly short term premise, and I'm finding it very engaging so far. I love that US TV is doing a little more of the UK methods--short seasons, few seasons. Cool to have that mixed in with everything else.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Aw, it's the citrus version of the cilantro discussion. I wonder how many people feel the same way about both.

Me! Me!

Things I have learned today: the Chinese character for musk is surprisingly complicated, and includes the character for 'deer'. In addition, the Chinese for raccoon means 'washing bear', but there is a single character for 'raccoon dog'.

Being normal is hard.

And rarely worth the effort.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Things I have learnt today: the iTunes store only has one Savage Garden song. And that makes me sad.

This is so much worse than last week's George Michael thing.

eta:

And rarely worth the effort.

I don't know if I've ever come close enough to know for sure, but it damned well seems that way.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I hate cilantro but love (ruby) grapefruit.

Growing up they only had the bitter yellow one. It's much sweeter these days.

I really want to see the Simpsons movie. Maybe this week while I am trapped in Orlando.

I support this course of action. There is much laughter to be had.

Bwah! This covers a multitude of topics for me.

Oh, I hear ya', sister.
