Hil, could you take an Amtrak train? would that go someplace a little more convenient?
Not really. Amtrak would go to either BWI (leading to the same problem with needing to take a shuttle to the other side of the airport to get the light rail) or Penn Station, which is too far North and then we'd have to take a light rail or bus back south, taking more time.
Good public transportation between Baltimore and Washington would be fabulous.

I have, but they stand out because they are so rare.
Cats need taurine, vitamin A, and [memfault] to thrive, and the best way for them to get those is through meat. There are vegan/vegetarian foods out there, but almost all of them rec a supplement as well.

I have, she was a nightmare. A sister of a friend of mine. She was invited over for dinner, my friend made a special vegan entree and made sure that the nibbles and dessert were vegan as well. The sister had the nerve to complain that my friend offered whipped cream (separately) with dessert.
Cats are obligate carnivores and cannot live vegan.

I think that the photo of paperdol behind the podium is great. She looks like the sexy librarian in a Playboy cartoon: intellectual and bookish, but also cute, curvy and bursting with, um, potential.
Basically, it's a vile thing that only people who are drink off their asses eat.
