is there any problem with October 25, 2008 as a wedding date?
Let's see... that'll be 10/25/08.
Ahah! In the year 1025,
Srivijaya, a partly Buddhist kingdom based on Sumatra, is attacked by the Chola empire of southern India in a dispute over trading rights in South-east Asia. It survives, but declines in importance.
Are you sure you want your wedding anniversary associated with that?

sara, a new person? what happened to the old person?
bon - sounds fine to me.
mac is at first grade. no hitches in the late drop-off/teacher meet. It looks like almost al his same classmates from alst year are in his room.
Gut check: is there any problem with October 25, 2008 as a wedding date? I need to set it. I checked on Jewish holidays and appears to be ok for the major ones. Anything I'm not thinking of?
Unless you were trying to have the wedding in Salem MA, I can't think of anything (booking any kind of event in October being nigh impossible - especially the Saturday before Halloween).
Sounds good to me, bon!
Yay for first grade.
I really need to figure out an alternative to this "job" thing, because it's really not working for me. All I do is dread my boss coming in and avoid doing my work.
New person. Old person was just backup.
Got in late last night from Atlanta. Just finished unpacking when power went out on entire block. Stayed up late waiting for power to come back on because battery in alarm clock was dead. Woke up late because of the aforementioned. Bus stalled out this morning a mile from work. Toe still infected.
Last 12 hours can totally bite me.
Happy Anniversary Susan!
Steph, when I first moved into a place with no linen or bathroom closets several years ago I bought a Wal-Mart wooden shelf tower similar to this for towels and such and have been happy with it ever since.

bon, if observant Jews are on your list to invite then you may need to think about whether they'll be able to travel to the ceremony on the Sabbath.
No observant Jews but that's a good point, Sparky.
