It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

No observant Jews but that's a good point, Sparky.

Art Crawl!!!

OMG - baby Corgi!

And yesterday when I was running errands I saw a tiny and adorable baby beagle. Teeny, tiny baby beagle. Just imagine the cute.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Why is the weekend always gone?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

On Saturday, a customer brought his little tiny puppy (on a leash, but he was holding it in his arms) into the bookstore. Technically against the rules, but I was having too much fun gushing over the wee one's adorableness to care. It looked like a little Westie.

Why is the weekend always gone?

I will volunteer to take the next few days off from work to see if I can find the weekend.

Puppy! Want!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congratulations, Steph!

I have one set of sheets for the spare bed and two or three for my own bed. I do mean to get more, but keep getting distracted. Not sure if I want to go modal for the main bed, because the pillowcase that came with the twin bed set tore pretty quickly and now I associate delicacy with their softness. But it's either modal or high thread count sheets for me. I'm such a sucker for thread.

I've started requesting itemised bills from the dry cleaner. I know I'm always paying too much, but looking flat out at the $10/dress really stings. At about $5/skirt and $5/blouse it makes sense.

But it still hurts, and makes Dryel (or whatever) seem more viable, even if I have to put an assload of quarters in for a small amount of clothing.

Fell and hit my head last night. Am grumpy, though not concussed. Just need more blood pressure.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yikes!

Is low blood pressure a side-effect of your meds?

Not that I know of. But I have a migraine specialist appointment tomorrow. In the meanwhile I will be getting up very very slowly.

Well, not the immediate meanwhile. In the immediate I will be lying down again and going in to work somewhat late.

Hmmm. That sounds like a two or more person job though.
