And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh really? I don't have a widescreen TV, so for me everything's always letterboxed.

And in I-am-twelve news, the Overstock.com tab on this browser currently reads "Size Queen Sheet Sets." Hee.

But if we avoid planting there and in the septic reserve area, we'll barely have anything!

Just don't plant any aggressive water seeking things with insano root systems. To be fair, my parents didn't plant the willow. It planted itself. It's a very opportunistic plant.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Everyone needs to come and visit me more often.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Painting talk! How funny!

Joe and I (and Em and others) started the painting on our place this weekend. We got the wallpaper stripped in four rooms, primed and painted 4 rooms and most of the upstairs hallway.

I have learned that light gray tinted primer is KICK ASS. With the exception of Em's room, which was flourescent school bus yellow to begin with and the hallway which we didn't prime, everything has only needed one coat. It's been kick ass.

Of course, I still can't hold my arms above my head for very long and we still have the remainder of the hallway and the dining room and living room to do.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Skippity to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Susan W and her DH's anniversary.

Happy anniversary Susan & DH!!

I am so tired. When I started reading Nilly's post, for a fraction of a second I was hoping it was my birthday....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Gut check: is there any problem with October 25, 2008 as a wedding date? I need to set it. I checked on Jewish holidays and appears to be ok for the major ones. Anything I'm not thinking of?

Let's see... that'll be 10/25/08.

Ahah! In the year 1025,

Srivijaya, a partly Buddhist kingdom based on Sumatra, is attacked by the Chola empire of southern India in a dispute over trading rights in South-east Asia. It survives, but declines in importance.

Are you sure you want your wedding anniversary associated with that?

Unless you were trying to have the wedding in Salem MA, I can't think of anything (booking any kind of event in October being nigh impossible - especially the Saturday before Halloween).
