Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

yay, Erin!

I think I might have found a dog. A shepherd/retriever mix bitch, all black. Looks pretty, apparently very sweet and not too high-energy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

She sounds great, Consuela.

Do you have pictures?

This is her. I haven't met her yet, so I'm probably over-investing. Must dial back my enthusiasm.

Oh, doggy. I got to meet and play with my paren't new Scottie puppy last weekend. So much fun! She growls (if you can call that weird little noise that) when she runs. It's so funny.

Art Crawl!!!

Erin! Good to see you and to read your excellent news.

I finished my FNL dvd watch and can report that it still makes me cry. Heck, some of the deleted scenes make me cry.

Also - NBC is running the last three episodes of the season tonight.

Erin! Glad to see you back, glad that the finances are doing better!

Consuela, I'm glad to hear that the news about your Mom is encouraging, I'm betting that just getting the dehydration under control is going to have her feeling much better. And that dog looks adorable and smart!

About the only really useful thing I've done today is update Quicken -- yay for still having money!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

today I spent 45 minutes looking for the used book store. Crazy. but all on line maps are wrong - it is in a new commercial area - and all the store sign are randomly placed around the developed area. Thank goodness I showered, emptied the cat boxes and swept the office before breakfast, otherwise I might feel like I wasted a lot of the morning.

so blown in insulation - what about the rumors I hear that it can add to the possibility of mold

One of the reasons I don't have vinyl siding is the fear that mold will set up housekeeping underneath it, where I can't see it. But then I'm in a damper area compared to CA.

I made it to VA and am now hanging with my friend, D, (he has his laptop, too) while watching the movie Blade, which I have never seen before, and catching up here. We're going to go out to see actual other people tonight. Another friend's b-day dinner. Easy trip down, but, my god, there are some stupid drivers on the road. Not that that's news. Anyway.

Beautiful dog, Consuela. I hope you adore each other on sight. Continued -ma to your ma.

ETA: And, yay, Erin!!
