Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just tried to sign up for some critical website, and was told my registration couldn't be completed until our organizational contact OKs it. Problem is, our "organizational contact" is my predecessor, so she's not getting that email.

Argh.

How do I heal my plantar fascitis?

As people have said, the main thing is Achilles/calf stretches. Lots of them.

My best invention for short-term pain relief was to freeze a water bottle and then roll it with my foot.

The other thing that helped me were arch braces [link] I liked this one: [link]

I'm so sorry you've added another source of pain.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want a Twix now. Sometimes I crave the good-quality version junk food--a Twix with quality chocolate buttery good shortbread.

Need sleep.

After being in various ERs (what a writeup I'll have for my migraineuese blog) from yesterday afternoon through midnight, with extra-special spicy meltdown, I wake up with plantar fascitis and a terribly sore throat.

Did I mention I fainted yesterday and jacked up my knee and back?

Now tagless for your comfort.

The universe needs to lay off of ita. At least for a little while.

School was a success. It's going to be REALLY cool spending time with Liv while Owen is there. I sent a thank you email to his teachers along with our vacation dates.

Two days until my spa appointment. I'm really looking forward to not being embarrassed to wear shorts.

How much of a dork does it make me that I'm excited that I'm apparently now an approved commenter on all of the Gawker blogs?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
