That's great!!!
ION, the buses are running oddly and yet they seemed to be running perfectly normal over the weekend.
Also, my boss was able to get into her house and pump out the 19 inches of water in it. (Yikes) Her furniture is ruined. All our bridges are open again. And classes have started.
And we have a voicemail emergency system that sent out that emergency closing message on Friday. I did not see it 'til this morning. Clearly the email emergency system was more effective.
I keep thinking all of these resignations are more about "if I leave Washington I can make up more reasons why I'm not available to testify to Congress and it'll go on so long that they'll give up" than about the ultimatum to stay until 2009.
It is speculated that
Michael Chertoff
will be nominated for the job, which is not at all amusing. Bush is actually kind of running out of unindicted cronies, isn't he?
Yes, he is.
Well, when Rove resigned NPR said that Bush or Cheney or whoever had told people that they had to resign by Labor Day or stay 'til the end of the Administration. How many more resignations do you think we'll see this week?
You guys have to entertain me. I am still not awake.
Other celebrity news/gossip:
Hulk Hogan's son, a wannabe-race-car-driver, crashed his car, seriously injuring himself and his passenger.
Owen Wilson was supposedly hospitalized and put into detox after a suicide attempt.
You know, those are not fun pieces of gossip. . . hmmmm, perhaps we could start a rumor. . . .
I know, sorry. I couldn't find anything fun. I fail at celebrity gossip.
Not gossip but I checked tracking and my FNL dvds are on course to arrive tomorrow!!!! (And so are my Heroes dvds.)
Doesn't this puppy look like a basenji?
Doesn't this puppy look like a basenji?
That puppy looks like a shamelessly adorable critter who's going to rule everything in sight with her tiny iron paw. I love her!
