I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The only one I know is in Seattle.

This week's run of Unshelved has taken a very Buffistaesque turn. The following strip doesn't seem like much, but you must read it to make sense of the rest.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Aw. My parents just called to make sure the storm didn't get me.

This is kinda cool. [link]

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I occasionally make use of the Huggies myself, but there's a big difference between employing extra hygienic measures for oneself and regarding them as a requirement for others. Not to mention announcing that fact to entertainment reporters.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dude! I renewed my drivers license on line this weekend, and I got got my new license in the mail today.

I didn't know CA government could be that efficient.

This is the salient point.

And a whole other level in then telling the press that you require it!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's AIFG for celebrities! At least Will and Jada seem happy about it, but it would be better to talk about it at Huggies.Org or whatev'.

Obviously, I should have been following Unshelved for a while now!

hip deep in pie

Did you use a lot of cornstarch? (My problem, with apple pies, is an allegiance to juicy apples, which inevitably means the juices overflow the crust and go running everywhere.)

I didn't use cornstarch. I used a little bit of flour and sugar, but that's it.

Now that the pie has cooled in the fridge overnight, the crust on the bottom isn't so bad. Guess what I'm having for breakfast? Yes, pie! It's no worse than a muffin I figure.
