Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am fried. Took off work today to labor at our new house. The DH had to go to a meeting (with this [link] dude) and made the mistake of leaving me and our friend Ed alone with the painters while he went off and talked movies. By the time he got back, I had decided they were also going to paint wood cabinets in the bathroom white and to have them paint the cinderblock fence around the yard. I agreed to a price. The DH was perturbed, as he is the negotiator of the family and he wants to present a "united front". Oh well. While he was digesting this mutiny, I thought it prudent not to also mention the $50 parking ticket I got this morning.

The color we chose for our house has the extremely charming name of Taliesin Blue.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, man -- I'm watching a Cash Cab from earlier in the week, and this couple just won $450 on their way to Trader Joe's. That's like the dream!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Re: Terrence Howard and baby wipes:

I'd heard an interview with Will Smith about using wet toilet paper a few years back. When he was promoting I, Robot, he mentioned the flushable wet wipes, which were then starting to become more popular.

Will was pushing for wet wipes back in 2004. Although no word on whether he requires Jada to use them.

brillig

wet toilet paper

What, are you just supposed to stay wet when you pull up your underwear? And trust that it's clean wet as opposed other wet? Or are you supposed to wag your ass back and forth to air dry first?
