Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd like to smite too.

Not today, though. Today I need to work out how best to communicate my need for a sick day despite having three meetings on my schedule.

I need to learn to accept that sometimes I have no choice. But that seems so terribly unfair.

bon, I'm not wishing you a happy birthday because you're a hider.

Franny! Who's a big girl?

Happy Day, bon bon!

Hil, I've also heard of a plumcot, but that might just be a "easier to pronounce than pluot" thing

I really like pluots, but agree they're more plummy than anything else. I prefer them to either plums or apricots.

Not that I can remember what a fresh apricot tastes like. But I sure do love the preserves.

And for those keeping track, fig preserves taste like guava jam. Wouldn't have called that.

Okay, lame email sent to boss. Back to bed for my head.

Swouncing

The only combination I know of summer fruit is of a peach and a plum. I have no idea what is its English name, if it has one. In Hebrew it's something like "pealum" (peach = afarsek, plum = shazif. So the combination is called afarshazif). It's yummy. But then, most summer fruits are.

ita, last weekend I spent at my parents they bought some amazing mangoes. I thought of you. I wished I could have shared them with you somehow.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Speaking of which, Emmett's discovering The Simpsons.

I can't WAIT to hear his response to Sideshow Bob.

Heh. We just saw Sideshow Bob the other night, and the George Bush Senior episode this morning. They were surprisingly kind to Barbara Bush in that episode. Actually George Sr.'s characerization was funny without cheapshots.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm eating apricot preserves right now, AIFG! But pluots were on sale at the grocery this week. Too bad I didn't make it in.

I just hope he doesn't take him as role model (except perhaps the Gilbert & Sullivan fixation). I would guess Bob would be too much the loser to inspire Emmett.
