But the longer you hold out on lunch, the shorter the afternoon is.
I actually had this experience yesterday, but the afternoon was still not that short.
Now my boss just said we're going out to lunch (for a meeting) at noon, but she's also just starting a meeting, so I'm scared.
We should talk about food. I'm sure that help me hold off.
For lunch, I have ground pork, dumped over leftover homestyle potatoes from brunch, and steamed broccoli. And a Cherry Coke Zero.
For lunch, I have ground pork
I am so damn tired... my first reaction to the phrase "ground pork" was to think of pork from pigs that don't fly....
eta: I imagine pork from flying pigs would have less white meat....
Today I've eaten a snickers bar and a diet Arizona tea. I eat better when I'm at work and there's a cafeteria.
I'm getting chicken katsu don from the Japanese lunch counter. (That's chicken cutlets with egg over rice).
I have to go buy lunch, but I am getting bored with most of my food options around here. I think I want really good Indian food, and the Indian food around here is just okay.
At home, I bought 5lb of wild blueberries last weekend, so I've been eating blueberries like they've been going out of style. Tonight, I am going to tackle pie.
Is it still pouring rain? If so, I'm going to bet I'm going to the restaurant downstairs, where I will get a chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon on it, which will be delicious.
My lunch would be improved by bacon, it's true.
You've got pork, so you're halfway there!
We've eaten early--because we lost power AGAIN for awhile there. Nothing more to do with the kids than to feed them.
But the rain's stopped so if the kids are up for it, we'll go to the gym before nap time.
