Electronic, I hope? Do a global search for period-space-space and comma-space-and. The spacing can also be globally replaced by searching for ^w and replacing with a single space.

Shoes go where they are taken off. Unless there are too many shoes and I put them away. This means in the am some one is always looking for shoes.
My commute is currently 7 minutes to one branch , 18 min to the other. When my commute was 30 - 35 minutes I was always early. Now I am usually late
