I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But she'll grow up knowing the value of a good smoke detector. That's reassuring, right?

I do love candles. Fluttery flames of happiness, they are.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Unfortunately, I have to put the serial commas in. But I also have to fix the language, so I might as well go through the whole thing. Which I have, once. I'm now on my second pass.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Shoes go where they are taken off. Unless there are too many shoes and I put them away. This means in the am some one is always looking for shoes.

My commute is currently 7 minutes to one branch , 18 min to the other. When my commute was 30 - 35 minutes I was always early. Now I am usually late

I can't spell in english - so I will not get involved in the french conversation , even though I did take it years ago)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I see "rod iron" on Craig's List a lot, and it makes me want to tear my hair out. What hath Craig's List wrought, I ask you?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I super hate when people use "weary" when they mean "wary." Really? Those sketchy people make you tired?

Nutty - Aug 20, 2007 10:48:37 am PDT #5669 of 10001
"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

But surely Nutty knows "oeuvre", as in a body of work.

Surely she does, except she had no idea that horse's ovaries involved work.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Well, Nutty now has a useful tactic for remembering how to spell hors d'oeuvre.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I posted about this elsewhere at the time, but a couple of weeks ago, I had to edit a Wikipedia entry that talked about a comic book author's "seminole" work.

You mean like the indians? was my first and only thought, before correction.
