Punishingly Intricate

I'll be writing on my Dan Hicks article into the wee hours. We should take a 3am coffee break.

Okay, your topic is way more interesting than mine (unless you find Medicare data access fascinating)!

Are we taking the breat at 3am your time or mine?

And why was it so much easier to stay up all night while I was drunk in Vegas? (oh, wait, I know the answer, I was drunk in Vegas).

Anyway, I think I'm going to take an ice cream and Dr. Who break in a bit.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We're only here a few days, but I already feel relaxed and happy. I think this was just the ticket!
How lovely, Liese! It sounds wonderful and exactly like what you needed.

And I adore Albuquerque. My uncle and uncle-in-law used to live there.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I know not everyone loves it, but we like it. It has the right combination of attractions, natural stuff, shopping, and not terrible traffic. Also, I can drive to it for a few days without worrying about it. We do have some friends here (supporters) we're going to have to avoid, though. It's a secret we're here. Don't tell!

I'm sure the oxygen they pump into the casinos helped.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Looks like all the family is well. So that's good not to worry about.

Now tagless for your comfort.

That's good news, ita. I hope they all stay safe.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm so glad, ita.

That's great, ita.

God to hear, ita.

I miss going to Albuquerque. We used to go to Balloon Fiesta but I liked visiting in Spring even better.

It's a secret we're here. Don't tell!
Won't tell a soul.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I love it when the rain is falling softly outside and it sounds a little like bacon frying in the next room....
