Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just made a change!

I have finally hooked my tivo up to my wireless network, which means no more phone cord running across my living room into my kitchen.

YAY me.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I went to IKEA today and got some new bookshelves. Although I now realize that I bought the 16"-wide ones when I meant to buy the 31"-wide ones. Oh well. I do have somewhere that these ones will fit nicely, and they're relatively cheap, so I can buy some more when the space on these fills up.

I just bought a usb network adapter, plugged it in, selected my network, and told it what my password was, and it did the rest.

I'm not trying to do anything other than use the network to update the tivo though.

Dog is my co-pilot.

But then it became just a matter of finding A shelf space

Ah, shelf space. When we were house hunting, we were specifically looking for a home without a fireplace--more wall space. Apparently, we're odd because our realter uses us for a class he teaches.

My parents' house has a fireplace. It's in a corner. The mantle niche is great for displaying the antique clock and various tschotckes. The birch logs in the fireplace are lovely.

They've never used it.

But it is pretty.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Thanks to Happy Fun Migraine, the sole productive thing I have done all day was getting a haircut. But at least we got sweet blessed rain on an afternoon when I was too busy curling up into a ball to head to the pool.
