Timelies all!
Spent a good bit of today running errands. Got the vacuum cleaner fixed(broken belt), exchanged a book and used the rest of my gift card for a book and a CD, bought some chinos(Someone explain to me how two pairs of pants from the same brand and style can fit me in different sizes. Only difference was color), picked up my comics and went to the library. Whew!
Someone explain to me how two pairs of pants from the same brand and style can fit me in different sizes. Only difference was color
Cannot explain. Happens all the time. Something there is that does not love a woman's ass.
Someone explain to me how two pairs of pants from the same brand and style can fit me in different sizes.
I've has this explained to me. Possibly by someone here.
Basically, they cut the patterns for pants (and lots of other clothes) out of the fabrics in big stacks. As happens with stacks of sheets cut together, the lower sheets move in relation to the stack and the blade, so pants all cut to the same size are not all cut in exactly the same way.
...In order to leave, visitors are required to lift the cauldron up with their forearms, leaving a permanent scar, like David Carradine in Kung Fu.
Ah-hahahah.
Tom made me snort on an iconic image from my youth. I'd almost take that ride if someone built it.
Speaking of word play, I saw an ad for "Merv Griffin's CROSSWORDS" and I immediately thought, Jesse should so be on that.
Aw, I totally want to be on that! If I lived in LA, I would definitely try out for more game shows.
I really wish the city's Chicago Air & Water Show website listed the times, because I'd like to know when the roaring will stop.
ETA: Wait. 11am to 4pm. Excellent. So in 10 minutes I might be able to take a nap.
Shit. I bought a new camera (didn't open it in the store. Stupid.) Came home and the lcd is fried. Back to the store we go.
I was just thinking the same thing, shrift.
Sweet, blessed silence!
And to think we get to do this all over again tomorrow. You probably have it worse than I do since I'm farther north.
I don't know about the Hogwart's theme park. On the one hand, I'd like to leave it to the imagination. On the other, I hear that the production designer from the movies is involved and I do love the visuals that they created for the world in the films. But it doesn't really matter that much in the end because the odds of me visiting a theme park in Florida are slim unless I meet someone who likes theme parks. I am afraid of heights, and get motion sickness on buses, so I'm not a prime customer for any theme park.
