Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cashmere, I totally freaked myself out trying to get off that screen.

I suppose it's only fair.

I've found a ride to sushi tonight (Blowfish--sushi to die for), and I'm taking enough money (and digits) to be able to cab it home if I wilt before my normal ride back.

Have to take Percocet to even leave the house, but I'm tired of letting people down.

Anyone know good sites for info on archival infrastructure and media?

Archiving what?

tonight I am sleeping in my own bed for the first time since July 26th.

Aren't you the one with the new living room? Go you on the home front.

oh, sara reminds me, I am supposed to be learning MS Project thsi weekend.

and yes, I do have the new living room. Tonight I hooked up electronics. Unlike last time I did it, this time I got all the stuff to work through the stereo. All I have left to checkout is of the VCR will tape what is currently showing on TV.

Sorry, msbelle! Picture of your new lr! Puleex? If you don't have enough to do... You olf LR was so inviting, I'd love to see what you've done now.

My brother had to do a complicated rewiring last week when one of the inputs on his tv died. It was so whacky, I avoided it and D and I used the bedroom tv to watch Thomas. Which is narrated by George Carlin!! I couldn't rightly explain to D what made me laugh so hard.

Interesting. My previous gig (the field I'd been working in since 1993) was image archiving, but images of business documents. Many of the apps we used claimed image independence--my last job was a Documentum shop (FileNET came second in the race). Those are the two big names in the business field, and armed with a proper viewer, could probably do the job.

But there might be applications out there that are targeted for your industry--Documentum and FileNET come with a whole lot of options you may never turn on, but still have to pay for.

If people are not members of the LJ photo community Urban_decay, please to go read the most recent post which is beautifully nonsensical russian/english.
