I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

Ann, that's a ferret.

The tracks I've seen suggest that Dean is likely to hit Mexico, at least the Yucatan. So he already has the tequila part covered.

So now we know who the weather junkies are....

Trust my rage

I have 59 minutes (WTF?) off today! Thank you, Dean!

(We will most likely get some storms and it's already windy out, but nothing severe, I don't think.)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Most of the computer models are putting Dean's landfall in Mexico.

Except for the one that has it smacking the hell out of LA. Lovely.

Well, I don't have Nash to tell me what the hurricanes are going to do, anymore, so I make do with wunderground.com

Eta: I think that one is pure linear regression, not taking actual current conditions into account, Dana. It's been a while since I actually read up on the different models, though.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

the historical models make me think that a straight run and hit on LA is unlikely.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Thanks weather nerds. Looks like Mexico is out for a quick vacation, and here's hoping the damage is minimal, no matter where it falls.
