Trust my rage

Thanks, bon and Sparky (eta: and Vortex). My brain kept coming up with "differential impact".

I"m feeling pretty good, actually. Almost 15 weeks now. The nausea is gone and I have almost no appetite, but I was just looking through my LJ entries from Ellie's pregnancy and about the same thing happened at the same time, so I'm not too worried. I think I have an ultrasound next Thursday and if all goes well, I should be able to find out the baby's gender.

Last night I fixed the hacked domain and ate champagne grapes. I still have sinus funk, but oh my god, champagne grapes.

I get really emotional over communities. I love it when there is an event (parade, neighborhood festival, whatever) and complete strangers start talking to each other and ME and we're all friendly and helpful and I swear, I have to fight tearing up.

Mom and I were down at Millenium Park in Chicago on Tuesday afternoon, and we had a ball watching the kids playing in the fountain. (In that link, you see the kids lined up along the side of the LCD tower, because they know that after the spouting water comes the downpour of water from the top of the 50' tower.) Mom said afterwards how nice it was to see kids of all colors and nationalities playing together.

Oh, and some Universal Studios film is shooting in the North Loop. I'm not sure what movie it is, but they had a rainmaker and a van all decked out with cameras, platforms, and a tow rig.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Wasn't this some movie about a bat-guy?

I think that they've started filming The Time Traveler's Wife here, as well.

It could be Batman. Roommate has a gig as an extra coming up next weekend.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
