I was just told of a co-worker who begged out of a meeting say she would be on holiday. But came into work that day. To a meeting where the invitee to the cancelled meeting was expected to attend.
When asked why she lied, she said "Well, I just didn't want to meet."
There are lies, and then there are very weak lies that collapse under their own weight. I don't get it.
