Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday DebetEsse!

The check engine light went on in my car as I was driving home last night. I brought it to the dealer, took the shuttle to the Metro to go to work, and $300 later, the light is off. Whee.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is fascinating. Warren Ellis posted a link on his blog that he said was absolutely disgusting.

I didn't click on it.

I'm not crazy.

That's not what I linked to above, either. I linked to the comments page which seems to indicate that sardines are involved. My mind boggles, but still not enough to click on the link to the image itself.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I clicked. Sardines are ... involved.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

ignoring the disturbing clicky links. If Warren Ellis says it's disgusting, there is no way in hell I am clicking.

So, has anyone ever sold magazines to Half Price Books? I know that they buy them; I'm wondering how many bags of fashion magazines they might be willing to purchase.

Oh, man, that's totally not nice.

The image, I mean.

Thing is...now I need to forward it.

Half Price Books buys magazines? Wonder if they want a ton of Smithsonian and Scientific American.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Zenkitty, insent....

I am going home. Or perhaps to buy a book on ASP.NET, as it's making my head hurt.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Am now at bar. Have iffy wireless connection, but also have beer. Have informed boss that if they make me come in tomorrow I will flip out like a mammal, so I will dial in to my two conference calls before 9 am, but after that they can kiss my sasparilla.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm at a bar too!

Yay!
