Photos of ceramic figurines in the middle of being destroyed
I was surprised at how evocative these are. The figurines themselves are mostly of people engaged in activity, and the way the figurines are breaking it looks as if the figurines are causing their own destruction.
[link] That made me laugh.
Unless there was clear reason for it to be otherwise, I always figured by saying "I need this by COB", it meant "send it to me before you leave work, which may be after I leave work, so that I will have it first thing in the morning to work on". Or something.
I usually see EOB. Although if I see an acronym I don't know, I Google.

I always assume "by COB" means wrapped around ears of corn.
OK, I've never actually seen the abbreviation "COB" before.

I love the hummingbird one. It looks as if they just decided to fly away.
I have had a few people ask me why I sent them an email with only EOM. I usually just tell them it's "End of Message" though I really want to say, "It's short for 'I don't fucking have time to figure out pleasantries to write you when all I really needed to say was in the subject line and could you just review the attachment already!?! GOD!"
I get that it's "close of business" but here COB means College of Business.

SERIOUSLY.
And it continues. I just got the most obnoxious response EVAR, "clarifying" what she's looking for.
I'm seriously about to cry.

Come have a smoke with me Jesse.
I would love to! Instead I am going to hold out until I leave here, which will be VERY shortly.
