Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Whew. My supervisor is scheduled to be out the Friday of DragonCon, and I just finally cleared it with her that it's okay if both of us are out of the office at the same time.

If I hadn't procrastinated, I probably could have gotten a better airfare, but oh well.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'll bring the sparklers!

Just keep them away from Cass -- or we'll have a whole new reason to take away someone's bucket.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I did have to reject many of his suggestions -- like not having chairs at the ceremony for the guests

We didn't. Everybody brought their own.

Seconding what everyone said about not feeling bad, Susan. Every other weekend I see people who either don't know and are afraid to ask, or people who think they know and so they don't ask. The latter usually fares a little worse. Usually when our speakers get up and start talking, hands starts going up.

Insent, Weepy.

P.H. and I are like soooo close now. And by close I mean, "I'm still totally intimidated even though we sit on Boards together and she sends me interns." If MWu gets that job I just told you about in email, she'll be in a good position to help you out!
