I wasn't cranky until I read about the article that IMO was presented as Latest News and rude bus passengers. Annoying cranky making humans.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Maybe watching Stephen Baldwin get mauled by a bull will make everyone's transportation woes seem less annoying?
Annoying cranky making humans.
I was at a convention all weekend, so I'm people-frazzled and in dire need of nappy-times in a dark room. I'd like not to communicate with another human for about a week to recover, but unfortunately I have to, like, work and stuff.
Hum. Fascinating. Wikipedia rocks.
I might have been a jerk on the bus this morning, what with a whole slew of seats being taken up by bags and nobody moving them so I could sit down until I got a little testy. And they were all, "You just had to ask!"
I call bullshit on those people. The impetus is not on you to get them to move the bags, it's on them to fucking move them! In NYC that could get them a fine, I believe. Maybe just on the subway?
Yeah, I think "You just had to ask." translates to "I'm completely inconsiderate and resent the fact that you called me on it and therefore am going to transfer the blame to you in order to preserve my finely honed sense of entitlement."
I call bullshit on those people.
I won't put any of my bags on the seat next to me until after the bus goes express and no one else will be getting on it. I just don't like it when people make me school them before I've had coffee.
Yep, what Liese said.
A lot of people are in morning fog themselves, so it's just possible that some of them forgot to move the stuff. But that's not the way to bet, just to provide some polite social fiction to ask if they've forgotten.
t /miss manners-lite
Instead of thinking about the myriad ways in which people suck, I'm going to contemplate what I'm having for lunch.
