"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Seriously! I adore online bill-paying. It's almost like I'm a responsible adult. My Sims need online bill-paying, because I'm such a schmutz that my Sims family, retirees with 150,000 simoleons in the bank still forget to pay the bills and get visited by the repo man with his laser repo ray. Ah, how art imitates life.

Come see us here! Perseids are totally going to rock it, what with the new moon and all. Is it tonight? Somehow I thought it was tomorrow night. We were going to go out to the land and put lawnchairs in our yard and watch them. But we're getting ready to take the dog to the park right now, and there's a bluegrass festival on, so probably we won't make it out anywhere tonight.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I am finally home. Counting the 30+ minutes in Panera, I spent 9 hours on a trip that should have verged on 6. :: fwumps over ::

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

tommy, head for the airport. I'll meet you in Colorado. (I wish.)

Cool!

In some online dating site there was a question, "If I could be anywhere right now, I'd be"

I put something along the lines of "Driving through the desert at night in an old American convertible during a meteor shower."

Huh. Still haven't done that. Maybe some day....

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I have the exact opposite problem as you, my waist and hips are almost the same size, so jeans either fit my butt and won't button or fit my waist with enough room for a small child in the butt.

Are you Yellow? I'm Blue! It's like Garanimals!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Are you Yellow? I'm Blue! It's like Garanimals!

I AM a Yellow! It really is like Garanimals.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I was right on the cusp between Red and Blue. (Of course.) Damn half-inch! Go away! I'll have to go into the store and try some on.

bananas:

Driving through the desert at night in an old American convertible during a meteor shower.

I have always wanted to do this. Or maybe a pickup truck, so I could park and lie in the bed where the rattlesnakes can't get to me.

Maybe next year I'll have my old convertible ready for such a trip. It just needs some minor work. Possibly the timing chain and gears needs to be replaced. And maybe the engine needs some bottom-end work.... The AM radio doesn't work - maybe it needs a vacuum tube or two....
