Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

Buffy Books Not Finished? HERE buffysmglover | 23-Jun-07 at 10:15 pm | Permalink glad you liked the video! sorry it took me a month to get back here. I need to ask about the books. Why did S&S stop with the one in January 2008? Alice Henderson said in my site’s chat last night that S&S had received tons of ideas for the books, including some from Alice. Did you have anymore planned? Nancy Holder | 11-Aug-07 at 10:18 pm | Permalink I’m sorry I’m so long in responding. Yes, I had many more ideas. My most recent idea consisted of sending everyone back in time, with alternating storylines. I saw Alice at Comic-Con and she had told me that there MIGHT be more books after all, so I’d better keep my idea under wraps for now. Suffice to say I would give my life’s blood to write it!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just don't get people who don't feel that dogs, cats, and other companion animals are part of the family.

It's a culture thing. I like dogs. I might even love them. I can't imagine keeping one inside a house. It's not how I was raised, and if we're making a list of issues I've had since childhood that need fixing, it's pretty low on the list.

Our dogs were guard dogs primarily, but fun to play with. That whole cuddling thing still is beyond me, much less having them in my bed. I was just listening to a friend today talk about showering with his dog, and I just am not going to get it.

Which is okay.

The status is NOT quo.

Things not to do when you're already feeling blue: a budget.

Feh. What was I thinking? Why did proving that I can't afford my own damn bills seem like a good idea on a Saturday night?

I is stoopid sometimes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was just listening to a friend today talk about showering with his dog, and I just am not going to get it.

I'm not sure this part is a culture thing.

I have to agree with Lee.

Y'all let animals in your bed. From where I'm standing the quantum leap is between me and y'all, not y'all and him.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

On, not in.

eta: Boy, that just can't not sound bad. I do think there's a difference though.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have trouble with dogs in the house. Probably because I grew up on a farm with working dogs and hunting dogs, and I had pet dogs that I loved and hugged, but we never treated dogs like kids, and we never let them in the house. My grandparents wouldn't even let cats in the house. I did have a big dog in the house when I lived with DX, and that was okay, though. I love having cats around, but the longer I live without them, the more I think about cat hair and tracked kitty litter and yakked-up hairballs, and I think, clean is nice. Despite this, as soon as I move into a place where I can have pets, I know I'll be at the shelter getting a couple cats. Clean is nice, but companionship and creatures who can warn of supernatural invasions is good too.

It's 4am. Why have I not slept tonight at all?
