I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm out of big garbage bags, so at some point there will need to be errands, but I do have one clear recycling bag yet, so there you have it. Remember, Lee, I have three hours on you!

I did sleep til 9:30, which was freaking awesome, since I think I was asleep before midnight. It was a damn long week, I tell you what.

Well, I've got most of the apartment cleaned--I just have to do the kitchen floor, shake out the rugs, and possibly take the half-full bag of garbage out to the dumpster, but that can also wait. I do have some things in my car I can clean out, but I'm just reallllly tired and don't want to do much. Mom will be here in a few hours, so I've got plenty of time to Get Stuff Done. So, I'm relaxing by getting caught up here.

The cat got her claws trimmed this morning, and seemed inclined to forgive me for the horrors of stuffing her in the carrier and then being sniffed at by a Yorkie while penned up (I've never heard her hiss like that before!) until I pulled out the vacumn cleaner and started chasing her out of her hiding places.

I just checked my checking account online, and found that one of the $57 charges has been removed, the other is still pending, but another (smaller) charge for a company I'm not familiar with has been added, but without a phone number for me to contact. I'll probably wait to see if it gets zapped before changing status from pending to final, because my credit report looks pretty clean, and I can't do a customer claim on it at the bank until it changes status anyway.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I hope you get it straightened out quickly, Kathy.

DH is off getting new tires on the truck. We had Sonic for lunch and now it's time for naps.

The smiling asses are back on Salon.

I wish there were Sonics around here. We keep getting those commercials for them, and their various fruit drinks look soooo good.

I think I'll make up some lemonade before Mom gets here; I'm in the mood for some tarty fruitness.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The kid on Mad Men is obviously a twisted little perv. I'm sure we'll see that odd relationship ratcheted up a notch.

I'm feeling very lazy, but I'd kind of decided to go looking at dogs this weekend. Do I have the energy to drive to San Rafael for the local german shepherd society adoption day?

I love German Shepherds!! My uncle had a great one (named Major) when I was a child, and I have had a great affection for them ever since.

So, I vote go and visit the doggies.

Art Crawl!!!

Go visit doggies!

How far away can it be?

It's about forty minutes. I could call Java Cat and see if she wants to go for a hike/have lunch...

There's a 5-year-old GS bitch who sounds like a very nice dog on their website. A little older than I want, but she's well-house-broken and yet still has the energy to go hiking and stuff.

Hmmm.

Tim Cox - Buffy: Anya, that thing you created burst through solid pavement and ate her dog. Anya (anguished): Oooh, puppy!

I have a feeling...

He creeped me out.

Yea, I was thinking that too. Sort of nasty. Ugh
