It's about forty minutes. I could call Java Cat and see if she wants to go for a hike/have lunch...
There's a 5-year-old GS bitch who sounds like a very nice dog on their website. A little older than I want, but she's well-house-broken and yet still has the energy to go hiking and stuff.
Hmmm.
I have a feeling...
He creeped me out.
Yea, I was thinking that too. Sort of nasty. Ugh
Is there a picture?
Kathy - someday Amarna may be mellow enough that you can trim her nails yourself. At least cats have clear, rather than black nails -- which makes it easier to avoid the quick.
I trimmed one of my cat's nails this morning -- he was being all relaxed on the sofa and he let me do it with minimal trouble. (And he was the one who formerly was superdifficult to do.)
Timelies all!
We(my folks, G and I) just got back from a nice, longish walk. Saw some areas of the neighborhood I hadn't seen before. Good thing the weather was better than it's been this week.
Sumi-- here's the dogs they have there today:

Java Cat's busy, but my sister will go with me; it's always good to get another opinion.
Do you go see the dogs and apply on the day? Is there a "cooling off" period?
I love German Shepherds!!
I miss my German Shepherd so much it hurts. Can't bring them out, though (they really are the DexH's at this point, even though I'm the one that raised them from pups, and there's just no room here). I'm not eligible to adopt even if I wanted to since I don't have a fenced in yard.
Um. Which is to say, yes, 'Suela, go see them! I'm so happy that you're going to give a Shepherd a happy new life!
Mad Men:I think the kid is gonna start following her around and stuff. I think Mrs. D. is kind of compliment-starved(is that a word?) and letting that overwhelm her better judgement. Also, Glen probably gets away with a lot due to his broken-home status. Also, there is power in giving someone something, no matter how inappropriate.
Do we know for sure if Mrs. D. is sick, or having 'sodes? Because it makes me sad, if she is getting MS or something to think of her wasting time in analysis, blaming herself.
I managed to drip taco sauce all over my youngest nephew while eating at a restaurant one handedfcf. HE's helping me type by grabbing my fingers right now and belching.
I've now clipped the nails of the other cat -- the very fluffy one. She complains but doesn't really struggle. But she is so fluffy it is difficult to see her claws.
