Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

Now tagless for your comfort.

But it's interesting. and the production design department rules. What's the deal with the fifties and having a gold tree on your wall? I've seen it in actual fifties films so I know someone really did it. Why?

Oh, yeah! The look is incredible. My parents got married in 1960--I think they had a gold wall tree.

I went with option three- let the library bosses deal with it on Monday. My reach isn't what it used to be.

Good option.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We had the flying geese formation on our wall. Another variation on that theme. It went well into the sixties.

I swear, I can feel myself getting lung cancer just watching this show.

Right? Fortunately every time I worry about the actors I remind myself they're all smoking stage prop cigs (union rules for the crew).

You don't like Don Draper, erika? I think we're about to see his tortured war experiences soon.

Always Anti-fascist!

Sometimes. Sometimes I think he ignores his children by working too much. Sometimes I think the stuff they do at work is disgusting. But sometimes I feel for the guy. Like he wakes up and thinks "How did I get here? One minute I had a summer job and kissed the homecoming queen, and now I'm like this...Dad and stuff. Yikes." I liked him for attempting to give the Scion the boot in this last ep, though. VK had it coming.

Tim Cox - Buffy: Anya, that thing you created burst through solid pavement and ate her dog. Anya (anguished): Oooh, puppy!

Crap! I've been watching these posts and just now realize what your talking about! I love MadMen! But what is with Glenn taking the hair?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Weta is selling these really cool steampunk rayguns.

And the made an infomercial about it.

Morning! I'm laying in bed watching a dog show (Sumi would be proud) and trying to work up the energy to reconcile my checkbook and pay some stupid bills. Bah.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oooh, OK, Cash's testimonial has sold me on the One Sweep broom, as soon as I see one in the store.

Not only am I staying with my Mom, my brother and my niece have joined us last night, which is... an interesting arrangement in a one-bedroom condo. It's a good thing that the niece sleeps like a rock on the carpeted floor, a talent that i predict will take her far in life.

Kudos to my s-in-law, who when her daughter was prescribed glasses, bought toy-size glasses for her favoritest doll.

Dog is my co-pilot.

I love MadMen! But what is with
Glenn taking the hair?

I have a feeling the kid is going to turn out to be profoundly disturbed in some way.

He creeped me out.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have a bunch of stuff to do this weekend. And one thing that I've been putting off way too long, and I can't do anything else until I do that, and so I'm doing nothing. I think I may be insane.
