My brother went to go see Lucy while we were in Ethiopia and was really unimpressed, like he said the bones don't look real, more like plastic and in really bad shape. I was sick and couldn't go, but we had seen some other archeological items and they were not bad at all, so it made me sad or wonder if whay they display in Addis are replicas.

Kathy, you did the right thing -- questioning the transactions immediately or sooner. If the bank wants you to follow up with a written claim, do so right away. You might want to close that account and open up a new account with a different number -- your bank should be able to do that for you.

This is so random, but I'm watching an old 80s game show (Blockbusters -- love the Bill Cullen), and at that time, Iran was the country that sent the most foreign students to US universities. Must have been right around the revolution.
