I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo Birdies, Aimee!

I'm still in PA, where it's going to be horribly hot, and not in MA where it's supposed to be much nicer. SIGH.

Many parts of the internet seem broken today. But I can get here. Yay!

ETA: Also tis like October here today. Cold and WINDY! And it rained like a sonofabitch last night. I think it's the remnants of whatever hit NY yesterday.

OK, so reasons I don't like Alabama: I've had to kill 2 huge roaches because I couldn't scream like a girlie girl and get someone else to deal. One downstairs dying, one fell from...my shoulder area. I really hope it was on the bottle of bug spray and not in my freaking shirt.

I am so emptying my suitcase and carefully repacking before I leave. Not taking those bastards back with me, no fucking way.

The BUGS are bigger in Alabama.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Aimée!!

In a conversation with a coworker last nightabout her husband's insane work hours, I said I think there should be 12 hours in between leaving work and going back. I can now confirm that I still believe this, as I left the work event (fun, but still working) at 10 last night, and I really don't want to go to my office yet!

Edit: Yikes, Sara.

Seriously, this and facebook are the only sites I can seem to get to. You're my only hope people!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yikes--earthquakes on one coast, tornadoes on the other and blazing heat & humidity between. It's a nasty, apocalyptic sandwich.

So relieved to hear ita is back and feeling somewhat better. Have fun with the family!

Happy Birthday Aimee!

Gotta work now. :(
