I am home.
Yay!
this day??
Yes, it's still today.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I am home.
Yay!
this day??
Yes, it's still today.
I am home.
Oh thank goodness.
YAY Home.
YAY Home.
Thing is, the hospital room had this big long boom coming from over the head of the bed. At the end of the boom was a plasma screen and a keyboard and a phone handset.
I need one of those for home. It was TV and internet browser and VOIP phone adjustable to about any position. I was so distracted by that that I forgot to play with adjusting my bed.
I am super glad ita is home.
And excited for Emily and Jilli's various potentially terrifying opportunities!
Finally, I am glad I am home from my work event. It was a hell of a day in the NYC. The event was great, but man.
Yay, home! ita, I'm so glad you're home and in less pain.
I'm so glad you're home, ita. Mind, I'm still giving the long-distance stinkeye to about half the hospital staff (especially Bad Addiction Cop, who can most seriously fuck off).
You totally should have snuck the plasma screen out as compensation for all the indignities. How, I'm not sure. If it folded down the middle, you could wrap it up in your cherry pj's, but that's probably not an option.
To be honest, I'm not looking forward to standing up, but my family should be landing in an hour or so and I'll have to be all vertical for them.
Hmmph. I guess I'll tell them where I spent the last two days, but I don't want to be hovered over. My timing sucks.
ita, so relieved you're out. And what JZ said about the plasma; next time yank it. That set up sounds right hot for a hospital. But, still, hospitals suck.
Emily. I am bummed that I didn't get to see you before you left. But I am soooooper excited that you're someplace where job offers aren't so evasive.
Thanks, folks. I have to be honest, I'm still torn about whether I should call them and turn them down tomorrow. It'd be teaching a) 4 preps and b) advanced classes in AutoCAD and the like.
Anyway, I'm off to check email and go to bed. Yay, Jilli! And ita!
