We did NOT have stormpocalypse. We just have sauna.
I think I'm mostly ready for my trip tonight (to Las Vegas where my band is playing!!!)! I think I've packed the least amount I ever have into my big bag. Had to take big bag to accomodate mike, cords, tambourine etc. but only needed 3 days of clothing. Summer clothing. I really hope I'm not forgetting key. And that the rollerderby people who have our other mike remembered to bring it. Otherwise i'm making them all stand in front and sing the back up bits loudly.
I wish I could have left last night or this morning to go out there, though. My friend is skating as the head Elvis in an Elvises vs. Showgirls exhibition bout this afternoon.
We just have sauna.
96 degrees + 48% humidity = 105 heat index.

Thank god I'm about to jet off to cooler climes. Well, dryer anyway.
I definitely should have stayed home. But my line was running! Well, "running." I was at the station for about an hour, and maybe three trains came by in that time (that were too full to get on). I finally got on one, and eventually made it in here. Usually it takes me under an hour to get to work. Today? About two hours and ten minutes. AWESOME.
Jesse, when the government tells you to stay home from work...stay home! Also, what train were you on?
Yikes, people. Catching up was a scary reading experience, apart from the return of the poster formerly known as Cybervixen. Please stay safe and as pain free as you can be during this time of micro and macro apocolypti. Loved it that LAistas were able to be there for ita.
67°F 88% humidity. Still not bad compared to home.
So go Barry Bonds! I don't follow baseball at all except my son and Buffista kids little league. But I feel bad for Bonds reaching this awesome milestone and having every single mention of it in the press accompanied by disclaimers about his steroid use. Don't know if he is a prince or an asshole, but I feel bad that his victory is so tainted.
eta: Oh, I skipped the CV visit! Must threadsuck...
Oh, and look what make the Space pic of the day.. [link]
Oy. Just had a neuro visit, who managed to contradict almost everyone I've seen in the past couple days.
Yes, I get it, don't be an addict. But please stop talking about "as much pain as [I] can tolerate." I consider tolerating pain about equivalent to not dying. I don't
want
to tolerate it. But I can.
At least I have cherries on my pjs.
Did Lori do any work on the Phoenix lander?
